assembly data for installing a ramp in a Renault Kangoo
I queried the following phrase with my client:
Préparation du joint rampe décaissé
and the explanation he gave was: 'le joint entre la rampe et le caisson'. I had previously translated 'caisson' as cargo area, but now I'm wondering whether it should be 'body shell'. Does anyone have any previous experience of the word in the context of cars? Previous Kudos questions and answers aren't really appropriate here.

The GDT says "shell", so it seems your solution is the one.
