French term

33 è LF

French to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs birth certificate
Very confusing, this one!
At the beginning of a full copy birth certificate, this appears at the top before the details of the birth (in Marseilles):

Acte de naissance
coplie integrale
conforme au registre detenu par la Mairie Centrale

33 è LF
Le neuf juillet mil neuf cent soixante........ est ne'....... etc.

I am fairly sure '33 è' is 33ème, and the F could be an E as the text is not too clear.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Could LF be 'livret de famille'? ... not sure how it fits in with the 33e. Before each birth certificate is a number, 1 being for the first birth registered in that Mairie in a particular year, 33 being the 33rd etc...
Amy Christie (asker) Nov 3, 2008:
the Mairie Centrale that issued the certificate is situated at 33 rue Jean Francois Leca in marseille - note the number 33! Any relevance?
