及びがたい is literally far-reaching, hard to reach. Here it indicates something coming from a depth, something deep, profound, probably with a great sense of respect.

impossible or hard to achieve/fulfill
according to my dictionary(大辞泉), 及びがたい=及び難い=そこまで達することが難しい。かなわない=something impossible or hard to achieve/fulfill

leave me in awe
Just came to my mind.
It depends on the structure you would choose for the entire sentence, but using "awe" could be an idea to describe "及びがたいもの" here?
