English to French Law/Patents Law (general)

It is not clear that rights in respect of a share are, of their legal nature, capable of being divided between substantive ownership rights and the rights of action assocaited with infringement of those substantive rights. I suspect that they are not so capable and, even if the contrary could ultimately be successfully argued, we would expose ourselves to a lot of legal argument on a topic which should be merely incidental to our claim if we proceeded relying upon the effectiveness of a purported assignment of such a right of action.
