Swedish term

förutsättningslöst

Non-PRO Swedish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
I am having a hard time thinking of the proper English equivalent. I see what they mean here is that there is nothing concrete expected, there is no right or wrong, etc., but is there any way of expressing it more succinctly in English?

without preconceptions / brainstorming / blue sky

"without preconceptions" is I think the closest translation, but if this text were written in English I suspect people would use terms like brainstorming / "blue sky" to indicate that the aim was to get fresh innovative ideas

without preconditions

This is one possibility which I feel fits the context. There is no particular answer that has to be arrived at and no assumptions or presumptions being made. The discussion can take whatever direction it needs to take.
