возможно, предлог "on" в высказывании просто опускается

20 апреля этого года можно смело назвать Черным Понедельником, т.к. если полезете в гугл, произошел полный обвал на нефтегазовом рынке. Я думаю, в последнем предложении речь идет именно об этой дате.
Monday = on Monday (в ам. английском on зачастую опускают)
