English term

vagina

May offend English to Spanish Other Slang
I am writing a paper, one the theses of which is that a Court Interpreter, interpreting from Spanish to English in a sexual assault trial may be faced with innumerable slang or colloquial words with the meaning of "vagina" To that end I need to know all the different Spanish slang words for this term. Please include the region or country with your submission. Sorry if this question turns out to be offensive but a lot depends on the help that Proz members give me. Thank you so much! Also, would "parte privada" or "partes privadas be applicable to the rendering of this word?

Thanks anyway! Sorry I realize now that it was, indeed, a tall order. Henry, you comment that the list is "interminable" helps me a great deal in the defence of an Interpreter whose knowledge of the Spanish language has been brought into question. No, Arcoiris and no Mr. Martinez, no hidden agenda. Thanks femme for your brave effort. You, of course, get the points and my utmost appreciation. Thanks folks!
Arcoiris Jul 21, 2009:
the word in the street For a research paper, just a few words would suffice, as an illustration. The whole 1438752 terms used in the world for this anatomical part are NOT really required. What are you really after, Tom?
Henry Hinds Jul 21, 2009:
Smells fishy to me... Right, José, and that also is reflected in some of the terms my friend and I were discussing!
José J. Martínez Jul 21, 2009:
Is this guy for real? I find that Tom's petition is not making too much sense to me. He wants for all of us to give him a ton of words. If it were for real he could say that it is for a woman from such a place that was assaulted and leave it at that. Now he wants for us to provide enough information for him to build a treatise on the vulgar terms for the female organ. Smells fishy to me...
Henry Hinds Jul 21, 2009:
Dictionaries? Not dictionaries. They don't pick up that kind of stuff. No, you have to get it on the street or by doing proper research you can now get a lot of it off the Net.
José J. Martínez Jul 21, 2009:
Go to the big and thick dictionaries buddy. I am sorry, but I do not believe you are asking for this. You will be getting lots of words, you can even write a book. Dictionary is the way to go.
Henry Hinds Jul 21, 2009:
Goes on forever I was just discussing that subject with a friend the other day. We started coming up with an interminable list for both male and female, and we only represent two countries.

It's kind of a tall order, Tom. Better research it yourself. It goes on forever, even just in one country.

Didn't realize that the 24 hour wait isn't up yet. I will revisit the question of points later but in the meantime thanz!
