Another might be: "He is praised for being courteous, so respectful and considerate is he of others." Of course, whether the subject is he/she or you depends on the context. 만큼 in this grammar pattern describes the extent of the adjective or verb. Generally, the translated English pattern will be something like this: "...so [adjective/verb] that [such and such is the case]." One example might be: "He is so fat that he can't fit behind the wheel of his car." |
