We are working on a project where a character is visiting many different countries in the world. We're introducing the countries with a short line of copy starting with an official greeting of the country - i.e. for France, he'll say "Bonjour I'm in France..."
We are trying to find a generic greeting for Peru, Rio, Spain, Chile & Panama that is authentic but this seems to be quite open to debate. So we would like the below greeting we've found confirmed accurate or if there is a better suggestions.
Peru = Como te va!
Rio = Bom dia
Chile = Hola
Spain = Hola
Panama = Oye
Thank you

Hola / olá
For all Spanish-speaking countries, you can use "hola". In Brazilian Portuguese it's "olá". Cheers! :-)

: Would this honestly be your way of introducing yourself in a marketing context? I certainly hope not. It sounds awful!

I disagree with you, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen this answer. It sounds totally OK to me to say, for instance: "Hola desde Perú".

: Can't honestly see what's wrong with a smiling "Hola (Hi!) here I am in XXX" as an informal start to a film clip
