"Dagslån" mentioned by another poster is an interbank feature and has nothing to do with retail banking.

thorough research makes me think that "call deposit" is any deposit with withdrawals available at any time and without fees. Sparkonto med fria uttag? A bit too long, can anybody think of a compound word or decriptive attribute+ noun option?, since in my translation it is one of the products offered by an investment institute. Thanks!

Thank you for the input, Sven. Transaktionskonto seems to be just a basic bank account that anyone of us has. Call deposit is more like sparkonto, an individual deposits money but has instant access to it, that is can do anything, terminate the account, withdraw some money, add funds and so on, unlike some other alternatives when the depositor is not free to change anything unless the term of deposit is over.

neutral Joakim Braun : Call deposit is not a sparkonto, which typically would have more restrictive terms than call deposit. A sparkonto might have minimum deposit amounts, withdrawal limits, withdrawal fees etc, but better interest.

'Vanligt sparkonto' är 'savings account' på engelska så det tycker jag inte att du skall välja. Om det är ett investeringskonto så kan du väl skriva det.

Ja ja men, de all är investeringskonton av olika slags. Det finns fem alternativ som har olika vilkor och regler men ändamål är samma: en individ sätter in pengar (investerar) för att få räntan. Skriver jag investeringskonto, kan det leda till missförtåelse. Alla fem alternativ som texten handlar om är investeringskonto. Call deposit är nr ett. Ett vanligt sparkonto, uttag kan göras när som helst. Nu funderar jag på att skriva just "vanligt sparkonto" Men tack så jätte mycket IAnita!

neutral Joakim Braun : Even though bank deposits in the type of account you refer to are investments from the point of view of the depositor, you would not usually call them that when describing the account. Investments are typically more advanced products (stocks, bonds etc).
