Discussion

Susanna Garcia (asker) Feb 27, 2010:
Rachel, thanks. I've got more instructions now - it's a drop-leaf table btw:
togliere la prolunga dall'imballo ed inserire i funghetti in dotazione nei fori indicati - It looks more like a screw than knob to me.
I'm starting to worry that a Moderator's going to step in soon about the language! Joke!
Rachel Fell Feb 27, 2010:
like this? http://tinyurl.com/yhztdn8 - i.e., a screw rather than a handle/knob?
Susanna Garcia (asker) Feb 26, 2010:
There's just an illustratiion of a mushroom shaped screw, Rachel - sorry
Rachel Fell Feb 26, 2010:
Hi Susanna how does it occur in the sentence/phrase?

mushroom knob screw

a mushroom screw is a pretty specific item, but I have found lots of references, one is below

knob

could also just be a 'knob' - although mushroom is no doubt a more specific translation, and clearly refers to the shape, to be honest I've never seen it used in furniture assembly instructions... difficult to be sure without context, but I reckon there's a fair chance that this is the clearest option (bearing in mind furniture assembly instructions OUGHT to be clear ;-) )
