Trattamento delle acque reflue industriali
Si tratta di un trattamento eseguito sulle acque reflue industriali al fine di completarne la purificazione (dopo demineralizzazione e addolcimento). L'acqua che risulta "polished water" è utilizzata per scopi industriali (per es. in caldaie), non sanitari né come acqua potabile.

La maggior parte dei siti sull'argomento pero' definisce polishing: removal of very tiny particles from water quindi opterei per raffinamento visto che hai gia' usato purificazione
