Dans le "Chicago manual of Style", je dois traduire une phrase avec l'expression "dead" (or "foul") copy.
"...the proofreader must mark only the proofs, never the manuscript, which is now known as "dead" (or "foul") copy.
Quelqu'un aurait-il une id�e du terme utilis� en fran�ais ? Elle est la bienvenue... merci d'avance

Manuscrit brut (non retouché) On trouve sur Internet le terme de manuscrit brut (ou manuscrit non retouché) - c'est le terme qui me semble le mieux correspondre à l'idée de foul copy. Dans le texte d'Audrey, ça pourrait donner : jamais l'original, qu'on désigne dès lors par le terme de "manuscrit non retouché".
