Danish term

rykke

Danish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Mortgages
This appears in a Danish mortgage registration agreement:

Nuværende lån mv., der skal rykke
Det er en betingelse for udbetaling, at følgende rykker for det nye lån.

I thought it was something to do with a reminder but then there is 'rykke for' so this does not seem to fit.

There follows a list of loans.

or rather, postponement of one lender's charge in favour of another's

in other words they now get first dibs at your house

Thank you - this makes perfect sense.

subordinate

subordinate, meaning giving it a lower position in pay off (but of course not that it doesn't have to be paid!)
Note from asker:
Subordinate sounds like a better answer. Unfortunately my deadline passed several days ago and so I went with postpone. Thank you for your answer for future reference.
