Freies Kotwasser ist für viele Pferdebesitzer ein Problem. Das braune Wasser, das bei Pferden vor und nach dem Äpfeln die Beine hinunter rinnt, sieht nicht nur unerfreulich aus. Kotwasser ist ein Zeichen, dass die Verdauung der Tiere aus der Balance geraten ist.

Excrement or faecal water
I have translated for a German Horse Feed Producer for many years and have always used this term.
Manure is not excrement, it's faeces mixed with bedding after removal from the satble. then it's known as manure
