German term

freies Kotwasser

Does anybody know the technical term for "freies Kotwasser"?

Thanks for your suggestion. I think I will use your and Wendy's suggestion as the combination of both terms is a good solution for my text.

Excrement or faecal water

I have translated for a German Horse Feed Producer for many years and have always used this term.
Manure is not excrement, it's faeces mixed with bedding after removal from the satble. then it's known as manure
