Hi MJ,
I have the feeling the whole sentence is related to the side effects noticeable in a urine analysis. If that´s right then "células descamativas de vias finales" could be the equivalent to the "células epiteliales de vias bajas" (I am guessing your text isn´t in European Spanish).
