Spanish term

de vias finales

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals adverse effects
No further context. The text is describing the mild side effects to a cough medicine:

Ligera bacteriuria, hematies dismorficos aislados, células descamativas de vías finales.

I'm not even sure if "vías finales" refers to some kind of "final stages", or to the actual urethra ....

Epithelial cells (? from the outer urethra)

Hi MJ,
I have the feeling the whole sentence is related to the side effects noticeable in a urine analysis. If that´s right then "células descamativas de vias finales" could be the equivalent to the "células epiteliales de vias bajas" (I am guessing your text isn´t in European Spanish).
