Italian term

dal prime time alle fasce orarie piu' significative

Italian to English Art/Literary Media / Multimedia
From the same marketing text as the previous question:

The agency thinks that "fasce orarie piu' significative" means the peak viewing time in the evening, but this is already covered by "prime time" as far as I understand it. Could the text mean something else by "prime time"?

Sonia Hill (asker) Apr 15, 2011:
Do you know what Phil, I had just done exactly that as I read through the translation :-)
philgoddard Apr 15, 2011:
I like your suggestion of "prime time and peak viewing hours", Sonia, but I think I would insert "other" before "peak", because prime time is itself a peak period.

prime time - prima serata

I think prime time is in the evening only and does not include the other peak viewing times that can occur during the day

Note from asker:
Thanks Ida. In fact, at the moment I have translated it as "prime time and peak viewing hours", but the agency's suggestion that it referred to the evening threw me a bit.
