'EU term base' has 'suction pump' for this context. 'Le Grand Dictionnaire' has 'water vacuum pump', but it looks like the context might be different. I'd be tempted to follow the EU term base on this one.

neutral Didier Fourcot : Suction pump should back translate to "pompe à dépression", which is a different item, I prefer the GDT entry that explains the origin of the vacuum (dynamic pressure of the water flow)

ejector-type vacuum pump

Simple and effective, but quite heavy on water and not very high vacuum; fine for vacuum filters, though. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Injector for this ingenious use of Bernoulli's principle
