"emergency medicine physician" I think the term you're looking for (in the US context) might be something as simple as "emergency medicine physician," who could be a full-time, board-certified emergency medicine doctor on staff at a hospital, or also a physician who worked part-time or shifts in the emergency medicine setting. The Wikipedia entry for "Emergency Medicine" also has a description for "emergency medicine physician" that might be useful. In the medical center hospital where I work, all emergency medicine physicians are trained to deal with trauma cases as well as non-trauma related medical emergencies or patient with non-urgent needs for medical attention.
