This describes the packaging for a (bath) toy and I need to know what the equivalent is in English. From what I can tell, it's a pastic bag with a cardboard lable/backing. This is the text:

I suspect that the toy is in a polythene ("poly") bag which is closed by a card that is folded and stapled across the top of the bag. This card may be perforated to enable it to be hung from a rod for display purposes.

Yes, this is a light cardboard. Termium gives "linerboard" as the translation, and the GDT explains that "cartonnette" is used to make corrugated coardboard (it's the light card stock that goes on either side of the corrugated board). A packaging industry expert may have a better suggestion.
