A waste of time The person posting these questions has been closing most of her/his questions related to book translations without grading since last year. That's one thing. But seeing that most of the questions come from already translated books (just like this one, available in German on Amazon, 2010), I think it's a kind of personal game she/he is playing because, once she/he closes the question, she/he attributes "personal" points, but not kudoZ points. So I would check her questions out before answering.

Das Zébulon ... ... tritt immer doppelt auf, einmal weiblich, einmal männlich. Es paart sich aber nur jedes siebte Jahr. Was soll man sonst noch von dem Zebulon berichten? Borges hat es nicht beschrieben, daher wissen wir nicht viel über dieses scheue Tier. Seien wir froh, dass es noch nicht ausgestorben ist.

das bleibt bei Zebulon, es ist der Name einer Comix-Figur aus der Zeit von Tim und Struppi (60er Jahre, wenn meine Kindererinnerungen aus Frankreich richtig sind).
Ein Wesen, das auf Springfedern hüpft...
(Le manège enchanté).
Ich kann mich erinner, dass damals der Name in Deutschland auch so stehen blieb.
