English term

Raises a stone from deep underground for your workers to quarry.

English Art/Literary Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino
Hello,

I have some doubts regarding the meaning of this sentence.

Context: medieval video game. Players manage a kingdom, and so have to distribute tasks among workers.
This sentence is to explain the function of some building or element.
Important: TEXT POSSIBLY NOT WRITTEN BY A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER.

Can an English native speaker help me clear my doubts about the "to quarry" part: does it mean that...
1. it is supposed to help the workers to extract a stone
2. it is supposed to take a stone to a stone quarry
3. something else?

Thanks!

I agree with Terry

Given the context... As this is a video game, it is probably talking about something the player has to do (build a building, develop a skill, obtain something from somewhere...) before stone becomes available at the quarry.

If this is true then the sentence makes perfect sense (as defined by the rules of the game, not by reality).

to extract stone

I would take it to mean dig or extract stone. I don't think it means to bring stone to a location.
