Spanish term

Recorte de magro plano

Spanish to English Other Food & Drink Meat
Hi
This is a cut of pork from a catalogue from a Catalan pork business. I think it is a cut from the dorsal spine but I can't find the name in English.
Thanks

lean pork steak / cutlet

Here in Catalan speaking Mallorca, 'carn magra' refers to any lean cut of pork, either in slices - (which is what the photo at http://www.avinyo.net/Recortes-44/2 seems to show and would be my understanding of a 'recorte plano') or cut into chunks for stewing / paellas etc. It does not usally indicate any specific part of the carcass.

I'm glad you liked the translation. Don't worry about the points; they're not important.

Sorry, I'm new to this, meant to award you 3 points and say I felt this was the best translation though not 100% sure.
