Italian term

evoluzione nonQ in sede anteriore

Italian to English Medical Medical (general) cardiology history
This is in a patient's discharge report, giving his past medical history.

" ... dimesso con diagnosi di IMA con ST sopraslivellato ed evoluzione nonQ in sede ateriore".

It's especially the word "evoluzione" that I don't quite know how to deal with. The patient had a non-ST elevation acute myocardial infarction and anterior non-Q ... here's where I don't know how to proceed!

Thanks again for your help.

Peer comment(s):

agree Anne Schulz : Likely so. (The q wave develops later than the ST changes; hence the patient may have come to the ER with an ST elevation and symptoms of an infarction which turned out to be a non-q wave infarction in the course of events.)
