Portuguese term

segurado especial

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs welfare benefits Brazil
Hi, I'm hunting for a good way to express this in EN - preferably US/internationally understood EN. The context is the different kind of contributors to INSS (Brazilian social contributions/welfare tax), in this case with respect to benefits paid as a result of accident/injury. All those who contribute to the scheme are referred to as 'segurado' (I'm still not sure of the best way to translate this throughout)

As I understand it, the segurado especial is a certain kind of rural/agricultural/fishing worker. I can provide a brief explanation in brackets, but any help in nailing a convincing term for this sector in EN would be much appreciated. (the original actually says 'segurador especial', but I'm assuming this is a typo).

"Têm direito ao auxílio-acidente o trabalhador empregado, o trabalhador avulso e o segurado especial."

thanks.

Note from asker:
hi Luiza - yes, I expect I will use 'insured' in some form - I guess it's really the noun that needs to go with it that I'm thinking about :)
