German term

Werte & Guthaben

German to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Credit control
...Ihrer bei uns liegenden Werte bzw. unterhaltenen Guthaben.

From a Swiss bank letter detailing terms of a credit agreement for secured credit.

I'm not sure which terms to use for 'Werte' and 'Guthaben' - would they be 'values' and 'assets' or 'assets' and 'securities'?

I'm concerned that the word 'values' seem confusing in the translation '...your values held by us' as it could be misinterpreted as moral values.

securities and cash/deposits/credit balances

There are two things you can hold in a bank account: securities such as stocks and bonds, and cash.
