German term
Valorentransporte
German to English
Bus/Financial
Transport / Transportation / Shipping
Courier company
Valoren- , Werttransporte und Verzollungsservice.
This term appears in a list under the corporate profile of a courier service company. The company is based in Switzerland. I have found only one definition for Valoren and that is securities (in Swiss German), however, that is in a financial context so don't think it works here at all.
Any guidance would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks
Mark

: This is quite possibly what it means, but your reference doesn't prove that Valoren means cash.//OK. Thanks for that.

Sorry for being predictable but check the definition here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valoren and think of the type of service/type of vehicles usually associated with this type of service.

: I may be wrong, but why can a courier service not transport securities? (For the asker, not you, Petrolhead!)

Special service and special vehicles required (Securicor, Group4, Securitas etc.)
