Hello all
I am translating technical specifications for stage architecture.
In the section "sound conditioning" is a list of the parameters that define acoustic specifications:
absorpción acústica de la sala: - que tiene influencia en el tiempo de reverberación de la misma, en los índices de inteligibilidad de la palabra (EDT), la viveza, el tiempo de retardo, en el brillo y claridad del mismo
[the original text is incorrect, and there should be a comma between "índices de inteligibilidad de la palabra" and "(EDT)", EDT being "early decay time"]

I thought that maybe it could be intensity, but maybe that would be "intensidad". I have also read the definitions of Early Decay Time which in Spanish is:
El EDT es un parámetro muy relacionado con TR (tiempo de reverberación), con la salvedad de que EDT mide la reverberación percibida (subjetiva) y TR la reverberación real (objetiva). Por este motivo, para determinar el grado de viveza de una sala es más fiable guiarse por el valor de EDT.

I am also completely sure that this is the exact equivalent. Liveness is a synonym of reverberance.
"Viveza" is a function of RT (reverberation time) and more specifically of EDT (early decay time).

"Absorpción acústica de la sala" (sound absorption of the room/hall/auditorium) is related to reverberation time, and therefore to liveness, but it's not exactly the same thing.

Vibrance/vibrancy
I translated some acoustic standards for school auditoriums and spent (a long) time going through my translation with an acoustician. "Voice vibrance/vibrancy" and "vibrant speech sound" were things he spoke about a lot!
