Since later versions of the ICD don't use either 'dermatosis' or 'dermatitis' in the category heading, for this question, I think the best choice is still the equivalent that appears in ICD-9.

Well, what I posted was from ICD-9. As a matter of fact, ICD-10 only says 'bullous disorders' - no 'dermatoses' or 'dermatitis' at all until lower down in the tree, and the draft of ICD-11 (not yet published) says 'chronic blistering skin disorder'. I will post the links under References below.

That's really interesting, the ICD classifies these disorders primarily as "bullous dermatoses", but in all the pharmaceutical product informations I have translated so far (about 100 SmPCs), I only encountered "bullous dermatitis" (seems to be a potential side effect of most any drug on the market).

What I posted was a copy-and-paste direct from the ICD. The category is "dermatOses". Some of the individual listings are "dermatitis". I think what you are seeing are some of the synonyms that the ICD gives. Note in my post that "dermatitis" appears lower down the tree and in some of the synonyms.

Are you 100% sure this is "dermatOsis bullosa", also it would be useful to know the drug here.
I have found "dermatitis bullosa" on page 8 here:

I always go to the ICD to get the preferred term. These names are standardized for ease of communication. Particularly in the case of a clinical monograph, it would be a mistake to popularize the terminology.
