English term

hay duct

English to Swedish Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks HVAC systems on vehicles
The string reads:

"1 x 30mm + plastic tensile wire between the main distribution board and hay duct"

Difficult to give a more precise context, since the string has been taken from a computer list of items and features used by a software tool to build a detailed bus order specification. I assume it refers to HVAC systems.

I assume the document has been originally translated from Swedish and my question to the native speakers of Swedish is whether you may have an idea/any association as to where the "hay" may have come from?

Many thanks in advance

@ myrwad Finally managed to get the customer to explain. In the event, what was meant was "an air duct (air conditioning duct)". So my initial suspicions have been confirmed to an extent.
Incidentally, the "plastic tensile wire" should really be a piece of "plastic tube".

Thank you for your help

bay duct Tried 'bay duct' with Google? Also a lost 'g' in 'hög' = 'high' may be possible, which gives 'hö' = 'hay'.

Bus equipment The term refers to a bus part or a bus system. Not really hay transport. I assume the English term is not quite correct, and would like to find out what it could be in correct English.
