@ all This is an industrial mill and sorry, this client is also heavily involved in the compressor industry but this is definitely abount grinding mills

It depends on the size of the mill, as David rightly says. And the involvement of compressors is puzzling in this context. But if your grinding plant/mill has a medium or larger size, we are talking of a "double-cone classifier".

Hi Stephen, I would be inclined to use "screen" rather than "classifier", but that is really only a personal preference; what size of mill are we talking about - a laboratory mill or an industrial (flour etc.) mill? That could possibly make a difference - and where do compressors come into this anyway?

Sichter in Englisch: classifier. Bestandteil großer Mahlanlagen, zB Zementmühlen. Der Sichter trennt Grob- von Feinmaterial.
