The present invention relates to a pipe coupling
for connecting one or more pipes in one-touch operation
comprising means for confirming whether a pipe has
been inserted in place.

It is, therefore, an object of the present invention
to provide a one-touch pipe coupling which is simple in
the insertion and connection operation and comprising
means for confirming easily and accurately whether the
distal end of inserted pipe has reached a predetermined
position within the pipe coupling.

In the one-touch pipe coupling comprising
means for confirming the inserted pipe according to the
present invention, a C-shaped or O-shaped ring carrying
a rod member is initially located in the space for accommodating
the pipe with the rod member projecting out of
the bore before inserting a pipe. Thus, the C-shaped or
O-shaped ring carrying the rod member is retained at a
position just below the bore. The length of rod member
initially projecting out of the bore may be altered as far
as the operator can confirm that rod member is initially
projecting out of the bore for a predetermined length.
