Explanation:
Het kunnen er redelijk wat zijn, maar blindflens lijkt mij het meest waarschijnlijk aangezien het met bouten vastgemaakt moet worden. Een steek- of brilflens zou ook mogelijk kunnen zijn. Zoek op Google images als je een voorbeeld hebt, anders zou ik voor blindflens gaan.

Asker: Wat is dan het verschil met een blankflens? Dit heb ik vertaald als enkel 'flens' obv van zoekresultaten waarbij andere vertalers voor hetzelfde kozen. http://www.linguee.nl/engels-nederlands/vertaling/blank+flange.html Als ik wiki bekijk onder flenzen schijnt het verschil te liggen aan de plek van montage, maar dan is er ook een stuk over afsteeekschijven helemaal onderaan die de boel best verwarrend maakt.
