This is my last question from this project! I don't understand what the"a"+colon is about.

Las variables clave de identificación contienen valores que permiten identificar unívocamente cada caso del registro. The "+" is clearcut this refers to concatenation (or an equivalent operation) of partial keys to form a unique compound key

That key is being named "a" and it seems most likely it's being assigned a value. The ALGOL family of languages use ":=" for assignment e.g. to give x a value 1 you write "x:=1".

So might there be a missing "=" sign here?

Asker: Thanks Donal, It does make sense if "the concatenation" is inserted before "a:" I'm going to go with that and query the author about the insertion and the missing equals-sign.
