I would like to know how to translate "Italian / Kenyan tales, stories, fairy-tales" (for children). I mean, there are some Italian tales for children translated in English to be sent to Kenyan kids to read and vice-versa, Kenyan stories written in English for Italian pupils.

Ngano za Kikenya, Ngano za Kiitalia

The accurate translation of the word "tales" is "ngano" and not "hadithi" because hadithi is a story. The difference between a story and a tale is that; while a story can be true or false, a tale is usually fictitious and entails imaginary events that took place in the ancient times. Therefore that separates it from a mere story.
Example sentence:

Tulpofika Sicily, tulikaa chini kusikiliza ngano za Kiitalia.

Watoto wa chekechea wanafuharia ngano za Kikenya.
