Spanish term

palometa

Spanish to English Science Cooking / Culinary fish (menu - Spain)
A restaurant menu. It's a fish, I've eaten it often enough, but how do you say it in English? Context is for Spain. Thanks.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks to everyone. I've given the points to Michael because he was first. However, I did find "palometa" in other links in English, so I left it as palometa. None of these names would mean anything to the average British tourist without sounding like an encyclopedia of marine biology. If they see the fish in its raw state, as often occurs in places of this category (ordinary neighbourhood bar/restaurant), they can form an idea of what they're eating. "
