Can anyone help with the following please. It comes from a manual on the initiatives being introduced to conserve the biodiversity of rural communities. I would like the phrase to be as naturally sounding and unwieldy as possible.

Para ello, es necesario definir en primer lugar, qué acciones en el territorio constituyen una barrera para el desarrollo de los procesos comunitarios, ya sea por la deslocalización y desarraigo de la población, la transformación de las relaciones comunitarias y solidarias, por relaciones mercantiles y competitivas o la destrucción de espacios y/o situaciones tradicionales de encuentro, diálogo, e intercambio.
