conventiona/fossil-fueled thermal power plants

your three questions are about the same thing.

"classique"=conventional" i.e. not nuclear-fueled

from the wiki link below
"Non-nuclear thermal power plants, particularly fossil-fueled plants, which do not use co-generation are sometimes referred to as conventional power plants."

conventional/fossil-fired thermal power stations

Explanation:
"conventional" as opposed to nuclear-powered ones I suppose

conventional thermal power plants

Forget about all the "à flamme" stuff and the three different names. The author is giving alternative names for this type of power plant in French. There is no English equivalent to that so there is no need to create confusion by a totally redundant reproduction of the explanation of French terminology in your English translation. Obviously, conventional thermal power plants burn fossil fuel and, therefore, flames are involved.

What you do need to translate the following explanation about heat being produced by combustion and used to generate electricity.
Peer comment(s):

agree Tony M : Absolutely! I always think 'power plant' sounds faintly US, 'generating plant' is another possibility commonly used in Europe.

Thanks Tony. Not sure it is more than "faintly" US, but "power station" is an alternative. I tend to think of power stations as big, while power plants might not be; however, not sure whether that is really the case.
neutral Yvonne Gallagher : I don't see what you're adding that's new? I've already said these are synonyms.

I don't think that one needs to, or should add "fossil fueled" (though, if one did, it should be "fossil fuel" with no "ed"). Also, this is the only term that should be translated. The ST says they are synonyms, the point is not to translate them all.
