Could this be "private contract" or does this mean something like "in absence of all damages" where "privatif" means "privative."

But throwing up a smokescreen of legal English still doesn't address the point that you, based on your practical legal experience and vast knowledge of Anglo-American contract law, may care to analyse, dissect and pontificate on for the benefit of the rest of us who are not as versed as you in the subject or as skilled in the English language: the relevant differences between termination, 'cancellation' - some UK lawyers claim a contract can't be cancelled: do you agree and on the strength of what consumer credit statutory authority, unilateral repudiation - does it need to be accepted, mutual or court-ordered rescission - whether it can be unlateral.
