Pastrami Kröchtel

Hi,

I am doing a translation of a menu and one of the items which can be added to a salad is "Pastrami Kröchtel". I have bever come across the word "Kröchtel" and can't find it in any dictionaries. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Lonnie Legg Feb 4, 2015: etymological speculation Guessing here, but my hunch (and the reason why I posted "pastrami (quasi-)crouton" veers toward it having evolved from the Austrian "Groestl".

franglish Feb 3, 2015: @Elisabeth I googled it, found only 3 entries, no picture, no recipe. I'd ask the client what it's made of, it might simply be a pastrami sandwich.
