In three others it is the love of man to man that is in question — II Sam. i. 26, Ps. cviii. 5, and we add Prov. xxx. 15 (xxiv. 50), where the noun is used adverbially to strengthen the verb: "the horse-leech had three daughters ἀγαπῶμεναι ἀγαπήσει, loved with love," i. e., dearly loved.
