Spanish term

Acuerdos de Familiaridad

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Tourism & Travel
I'm translating a travel agency-related document entitled "Acuerdos de Familiaridad", which starts as follows:

"El establecimiento de una familiaridad permite que, mediante la remisión de la presente comunicación, un agente de viajes o entidad con capacidad de control legítimo sobre la reserva autorice expresamente el acceso y capacidad de modificación en el entorno de trabajo por parte de terceros de las reservas creadas y/o gestionadas por la oficina con la cual se establece la relación"..

Any ideas how to render "Familiaridad"?

Thanks in advance

Discussion

AllegroTrans May 30, 2015:
More context would help How many parties are there? Who is providing what services to whom?
I really think this is a matter of fitting the translation to the scope and effect of the agreement rather than going for a literal translation that doesn't really work
heidi (X) May 30, 2015:
Authorization agreement is meant here, perhaps, considering that ...autorice expresamente el acceso y... comes up later in the sentence?

cooperation agreement

It may have a more recondite name in travel agent jargon, but in general it just sounds like a bog-standard collaboration agreement to me.

A cooperation agreement is quite formal, and states the rights and responsibilities of the individual companies entering into a cooperative relationship. You might want to call the "familiaridad" thingy an "informal cooperation/collaboration agreement" if it turns out to be less binding.
