This is my (admittedly terrible) attempt at the whole section:
I would tell them that they are a little too big. I'm referring to the xxxxxxxxxxx at the heart of an organization, which in this case is a CAC company, it seems a little mechanic; they're lacking the human side, getting closer to their clients.

"Connotation" in EN has the same meaning as in the FR.
"Tax" for "fiscaliste" as where French for example will use the term "avocat/comptable fiscaliste", in EN we say "tax" lawyer/accountant. The specialisation aspect is inherent in the fact that the qualifier is there at all. The qualifier "fiscaliste" is rendered in EN by "tax".

I have only cited one souce, but there are many, where "tax connotation" is used in EN original language sources in articles and books. The idea is that you now check this yourself in light of your wider context, to see if it fits.
