German term

Kann-Gutachter

German to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) Functional specification document for application
At the top of a functional specification document for a computer application.

 Gutachter:

 Sub-Gutachter:

"Kann-Gutachter:"

Am using Assessor for Gutachter. So we've got assessor, sub-assessor and "kann-gutachter"

Feels like Testing Assessor or something similar.

TIA!

discretionary/permissive - assessor? I found this translation when I typed in ''Kann'' on a slovene multilangual dictionary website: http://sl.pons.com/prevod?q=kann&l=deen&in=ac_de&lf=de&cid=&...

- Kann-Vorschrift - discretionary/permissive clause
I know it's not a direct answer to your question, but I hope that this tranlsation helps you out.

Another guess: could it be the name of the company?

backup assessor? default? Guessing here...

Sounds like it may mean "could be", ie reserve if neither of the other two can do it. It doesn't get any Google hits, so it's probably just a term they coined.

Potential assessor

i.e, "Needs-must assessor"; as Phil says, a made-up word, so you as translator are entitled to make up an equivalent in English;
