Spanish term

Lenguajes artísticos y comunicacionales

Spanish to English Other Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs secondary school subject
"Lenguajes artísticos y comunicacionales" is the name of a subject on an Argentine secondary school transcript.

I have found the fundamentals of the subject (description of what it is about) in http://contenidosdigitales.ulp.edu.ar/exe/lenguaje-artistico...

"Artistic and communicational languages" is too literary, and I would say inadequate; on the one hand, wouldn't "communicational language" be a redundancy?
On the other hand, "artistic language" is something different: "An artistic language (commonly called artlang[1][2][3]) is a constructed language designed for aesthetic pleasure. Unlike engineered languages or auxiliary languages, artistic languages usually have irregular grammar systems, much like natural languages. Many are designed within the context of fictional worlds, such as J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. Others represent fictional minority languages in a world not patently different from the real world, or have no particular fictional background attached."

Pensé en "Communication through languages and art", pero no es exactamente lo que dice en inglés tampoco.

¿Alguien a quien se le ocurra alguna alternativa teniendo en cuenta este contexto?

¡Desde ya muchas gracias!

agree Jeffrey Jankowski : In the US, simply "communication arts" in often used to describe courses dealing with the interpretation of different forms of communication. Such courses also often include composition and public speaking.

artistic and communicational languages

Literally. Makes as much sense as the description IMHO. In my experience, this academic area is typically beset by staggering overuse of meaningless verbiage, rather than calling a spade a spade.

Artistic and Linguistic Communication

Only four Google hits for this phrase, but it does seem to capture the intended meaning of "how communication happens through language and artistic forms" in which the previous suggestions have not.

End of last sentence should read as follows:

...in a way in which the previous suggestions have not.

I also do not think the course material in question has anything to do with invented languages like the one used in Tolkien's work.
