Please could someone help me with deciphering what the parenthesized part of the phrase is getting at?
I believe they are trying to say: 'setting up the crew on Cronyx but not us in personnel'
I know this is a long phrase but I think it needed all of it for one to get the context of what is being said.

as opposed to:
