: oui. Le texte d'origine est peut-être une traduction automatique d'un texte en français (!) car "attendre" peut se traduire "expect" et retarder "postpone"

Even though preparing a report is an essential step, if there are identified medical emergencies, action should be taken and the report will follow.
Imagine if 'expect' was really 'wait for' — it would already start to make more sense!
Autrement dit, le rapport est à mettre entre parenthèses car l'urgence est à gérer prioritairement : imaginez le contraire !!!!
