French term

Garantie Séjour

French to English Bus/Financial Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting art and art collection insurance
Art insurance documents distinguish between "Garantie Séjour" and "Garantie Transport": the latter is 'transit cover' but I can't find the right term for "Garantie Séjour", which is broken down into "séjours permanents" and "séjour temporaires". I've thought of 'display' but items are not necessarily on display, but in storage, for instance.

The definition given is:

Discussion

David Vaughn Dec 13, 2016:
No shortcuts I find many mentions of "exhibition insurance" where transport is included in the policy. Simultaneously, (and in contrast), "exhibition" could be construed as to refer ONLY to the period insured goods are presented to the public, and not include other likely damage, such as while packing or mounting works. The word "sejour" would seem to imply coverage for the works during the entire period between their transport to and from the site. The text itself makes that fairly clear, "dès lors que ces biens sont situés sur le lieu d’assurance habituel". Unfortunately English has no equivalence for "sejour" except sojourn. When in doubt, explain.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "This is what I went for with appropriate rewording for sections when it didn't specifically refer to exhibitions."

Lower confidence because this also covers the time in transit.
