I am working on a paper on Gaming Simulation and the following piece is from the section on Application Example, describing the Ultimatum Game. What does '行動する主体' mean here?

def:task 関数は,第 1 引数が行動をする主体(省略した場合は環境),第 2 引数が行動する主体の内部モデルを現す関数の名前である.
