"Upon occasion when there is an inventory discrepancy in the Ecommerce Warehouse, the Customer Care Centre may reach out to stores requesting they set aside product to fulfill all or part of an Ecommerce Store Pick-up order. While these occurrences will be limited, it is important to partner on this issue to ensure customer satisfaction. In this situation Customer Care will reach out directly to the store with the product name, customer and order information as well as an STO number. Stores should set aside the product until the customer comes to pick it up, tagged with the appropriate information and receive the STO to transfer the inventory correctly. If the STO is not sent to the store at the time of the request, the product should not be set aside."

termiumplus.gc.ca suggests "special technical operation - opération technique spéciale", which would make sense.
Anyone heard of a "STO number" that could mean anything else in this context?
